Licensing, in plain words
Developer (free) — for hobby projects, bots, research and learning. The license fee is zero; the license condition is attribution: credit 𝕏TVDb visibly wherever the data appears. Commercial use (ads, subscriptions, paid apps) is not covered.
Plus and Pro — commercial licenses. Attribution becomes optional (always appreciated), the rate budgets grow, and Pro adds priority support and early access to new endpoints.
Redistributing the raw dataset wholesale, reselling API access, or presenting the data as your own collection is not covered by any plan.
Upgrading to Plus or Pro
Paid plans are activated personally while the Developer Program is young — no self-serve checkout yet. Register for the free plan first, then message the team on Telegram (the main 𝕏TV bot, /support) with your project name. Your developer account is switched to the new plan — your existing keys keep working and simply inherit the bigger budgets.
